- The letter critized President McKinley, leaving consequences for the minister to resign. The letter became public because it was sold to a news paper company; which had been stolen from the post office.

- Due to the 'Treaty of Paris' The United Stated won the war. Cuba one it's independence; however, Guam and P.Rico were under the hands of the U.S. In addition they bought the Philipines for $20 mill.

- The Spanish-American war connected with American Imperialism because they wanted to take over land.

e) How was the war started? Was it proper?
- The war started by yellow journalism which was where new paper companies exaggerate events such as the ship. No i dont not think it was proper.
